We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Junior Designer to join Campus Life, responsible for producing print and digital design that effectively showcases the various student services and on campus offerings within Campus Life.
Campus Life’s purpose is to create a vibrant, engaging, and supportive campus experience. Its services include University Health & Counselling, Wellbeing, Early Childhood Centres, Accommodation, Summer Stays, Sport & Recreation, Goldie Estate, Events, Retail and Catering Services, Clubs, and Student Engagement.
As a Junior Designer, you will contribute to the development of a powerful and consistent profile for Campus Life, in particular student events, and University campaigns and conferences, through creative design solutions with high visual impact. The role involves listening to stakeholders and understanding their needs before making design decisions within the context of the overall University brand position. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of digital media and industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines.
The Junior Designer will have a shared responsibility for producing a variety of high-quality visual communications for Campus Life and the University; all under the guidance of the Campus Life Graphic Designers.
This is a full time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent role. The salary range for this role is $47,400 – $59,700 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.
