£27,116 – £31,406 a year
University of Cambridge Careers Service is looking for someone with good organisational and communication skills to join our Operations Team as a Project Coordinator. If you are seeking to develop your theoretical and practical understanding of project management this would be a great role for you. Large projects may involve you working exclusively with a particular team for several months, providing the opportunity to become familiar over time with all aspects of the Careers Service.
The Operations Team is formed of five staff, led by our Operations and Projects Manager. All team members are involved in projects running across the Service, in addition to supporting our suite of sophisticated digital services. All staff follow a hybrid working pattern and we are well equipped to offer you a comfortable working environment at home and in the office. We encourage staff to engage with Project initiatives across the University e.g. Lean training and communities of practise.
The Careers Service helps undergraduates, postgraduates and postdocs, to prepare for their future. Our experienced and impartial team is here to provide support from day one to beyond Cambridge, focussing on exploring options, navigating the job market and looking at opportunities for further study.
More detailed information on the role can be found in the Further Particulars document, which is accessible via the link at the bottom of this advert.
Your application should clearly set out how you meet the criteria listed in the Further Particulars along with relevant examples. Candidates will be shortlisted based upon these criteria.
We welcome applications from individuals who wish to be considered for part-time working or other flexible working arrangements.
We expect interviews to be held on the 4th July and we hope the successful candidate will start at the end of August / early September.
