Āu Mahi | What You Will DoWe are looking for a new colleague to join us at the rank of Professor. In addition, the successful candidate will be appointed to a fixed term role of Associate Dean, Research in the Faculty. This professorial role is a full-time and continuing (i.e. permanent) position. The successful applicant will contribute to teaching and research within the Faculty.

Applicants must provide demonstrated evidence of successful research and teaching in areas that align with the needs of Te Kaupeka Ako | Faculty of Education, such as culturally responsive and sustainable teaching, learning and research, Mātauranga Māori, STEM Education, or teacher learning and development. The person appointed to this role will also be expected to maintain an active research programme.

Role
This role sits within the Academic Staff, Associated Staff and Academic Support Staff Collective. Agreement and the following salary scale applies:
The salary range for this position is: Professor Grade 7.01 ($169,672) – 7.07 ($213,321). There will be an annual additional payment for the agreed term of the Associate Dean Research portion of the role.
