Education and Student Support

The Education and Student Support Directorate provides all of the key administration and education support activities that underpin the student experience from Fresher’s week to Graduation. This role is within the Education Support Team which provides the core and critical operational support for teaching administration and support for delivery of taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

About the role

This post offers an exciting opportunity for a highly-motivated individual with a keen interest in providing excellent customer service to students and staff in all matters relating to education and programme support. We are looking for an individual who can work towards continuously improving the student and academic experience across the student life cycle. This post will specifically support tasks for dedicated programmes within our Degree Apprenticeships team. However, flexibility is expected of Education Support Administrators across the service and you are asked to assist across different programme types if required.

About you

You will be expected to provide specialist administrative support and act as a first/named point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will work effectively and flexibly within a wider administrative team in a busy environment to deliver an excellent, customer focused and seamless service. You will promote the consistent and correct application of processes, systems and codes of practice ensuring compliance with internal and external regulation. The successful role holder should be comfortable working on their own initiative and with colleagues and customers from a range of internal and external teams.
