Education and Academic Services
This is a new, part-time post (0.6 FTE) which will be based within the Education Welfare team in Penryn. The post is available immediately, on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Please note that this post will be subject to a clear DBS check. The DBS will be carried out by the University, once the successful applicant is appointed.
Summary of the role
This position offers an exciting opportunity for those wishing to develop their career in Education Welfare Support, with an interest in supporting students with additional and sometimes complex needs. We are looking for compassionate, committed and resilient individuals with an understanding of the issues facing students and who have the required experience and skills to join this busy team.
You will provide a high level of wellbeing support and advice through the Health, Wellbeing and Support for Study process, as well as guidance relating to our programmes of study and regulations. You will maintain an extensive knowledge of internal and external wellbeing support services and how they relate to students in order to signpost students effectively.
The successful applicants for this post will have experience of working flexibly both as part of a team and by working independently to deliver an outstanding customer service experience. You will have excellent organisational and communication skills, as well as experience of coordinating support for individuals with health and wellbeing needs.
