Job Summary
The Collaborative Center for Literacy Development (CCLD) was created and is operated per the requirements of KRS164.0207 and other legislative acts (e.g., KRS158.792)and are dictated by state statute. The Academic Administrative Coordinator position will allow CCLD to directly address mandated objectives of the CCLD, notably KRS164.0207ss(1) a, b, d, e, f, & i., and ss(2)a, b (1, 2, 3, 4). Also, other requests for research-base review, evaluation services, or research studies on Kentucky or district reading or literacy education programs as they are made of CCLD, including research of efficacy of programs.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
General understanding of basic skills (reading, writing, math). Skills to maintain records and files, general office work or greeting people. Advanced word processing, office procedures, administrative abilities or database management. Knowledge and skills associated with admin/management of departments/units, typically obtained through experience or a four year college degree (may require an advanced degree in some disciplines). Requires knowledge of two or more professional areas, typically obtained through experience or a four-year college degree plus several years’ experience in a second field degree (may require an advanced degree in some disciplines).
