£33,555 – £42,155 p.a. depending on experience
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Sustainability sits at the heart of the University’s new strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Sustainability Service to support the University in delivering on its sustainability commitments. Through our strategic approach to sustainability, we draw upon collaboration internally and externally, to facilitate behaviour and process change.
This role will support this ambitious vision, and in particular our commitments to community and civic collaboration whilst supporting our students to play an active and positive role in our city. By taking a leading role in the delivery and advancement of our Student Citizenship programme you’ll play a key part in driving forward these strategic commitments and generating a positive impact for our local community.
Based on campus in Leeds with the opportunity for hybrid working you’ll promote and facilitate partnership and collaboration, ensuring effective development and management of projects and initiatives that support the University, its partners and our communities. You’ll ensure our students are supported as local residents to minimise their local impacts and that the University maintains its position as a key community partner. There will also be opportunities to influence and engage across a range of strategic sustainability programmes, with direct impact across the University as well as in the city and its local communities.
We’ll need you to have a background in delivering complex multi-partnership community projects and programmes. Demonstrating excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship building skills to influence and collaborate with passion and energy across a diverse community at the University and beyond.
You’ll be an experienced sustainability and community development professional, with the ability to relate sustainability to community and civic collaboration, engage and collaborate with key stakeholders and provide an opportunity for all to make a contribution in the development and enhancement of Student Citizenship.
