The Role
Postholders will play a key role in developing and supporting academic staff across the School of Advanced Study in curating academic events for the dissemination of research and research related activities within and beyond the academy growing the Schools national and international reach.
Postholders will focus on maximising academic engagement, inclusivity, impact and enhancing the customer experience across digital and on campus events; which will include conferences, lectures, seminars, research and skills training and summer schools.
The postholder will work with academic staff and others to identify the potential for maximising the uptake and circulation of research findings as well as promoting knowledge-sharing with the academic community and society at large. Postholders will manage all aspects of the event including hosting, speaker liaison, budget, promotion and post event processing.
This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) base in Senate House, London, WC1E 7HU.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, the majority of employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will be required to attend on specific days for training or team meetings.
