Position Summary:
The University of New Mexico’s (UNM) Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) provides seamless delivery of professional support services to internal clients using best practices in capital project planning, development, and construction.
PDC seeks an organized, self-motivated, dependable, and detail oriented Administrative Assistant 3 to join our vibrant, committed team of professionals who support the built environment at UNM. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional with the ability to work in a hybrid work model, both independently in a remote environment, as well as within an office setting, managing the front reception area of our department while interacting with clients, consultants, and team members as the first point of contact to include answering phones and greeting and directing visitors. This person must be a motivated self-starter with the demonstrated ability to anticipate expectations and complete assignments in their entirety in a timely and conscientious manner. This position requires the ability to demonstrate initiative and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. We are looking for an individual to provide quality service, both internally and externally, multitask, and establish priorities while demonstrating strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills along with strong editing and proofreading abilities. Experience communicating with and coordinating high-level administrators for meetings or report materials is essential.

Duties and responsibilities for this full-time Administrative Assistant 3 position include, but are not limited to:
