The Oxford Sustainable Finance Group (OxSFG) is multidisciplinary and works globally across asset classes, finance professions, and with different parts of the financial system. We are the largest such centre globally and are working to be the world’s best place for research and teaching on sustainable finance and investment. More recently OxSFG has initiated a new Public and Third Sector Academy for Sustainable Finance (P3SA); a global centre of learning and capacity building focused on how the public and third sectors, whether central or local government, regulators, supervisory authorities, multilateral institutions, campaigning NGOs, charities, and philanthropy, can grasp the opportunities associated with sustainable finance.
You will have an allocated portfolio of programmes across OxSFG and P3SA and will be the driving force behind the operational planning, preparation, logistics and delivery of each one, ensuring consistency in all aspect of the programme lifecycle. The planning, administration and execution of these should be seamless and professional at all times. Your duties will include carrying out all aspects of course administration to a high standard, including finding and booking venues, preparing course materials, booking accommodation, responding to inquiries from participants. You will also liaise with speakers and contributors to obtain teaching requirements and materials within set deadlines. Developing programme budgets and liaise accurately with finance teams to manage programme payments is also a key responsibility.
The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational skills, able to prioritise a busy workload, meet deadlines, work independently and as a supportive team member, successfully managing projects to their conclusion. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills in a professional setting. Previous experience of events or project management is highly desired. A track record of using your skills in administration and project management to communicate and expand your organisation’s work – with demonstrable results is essential. You will have the proven ability to work accurately to a high standard.
