Are you driven by the desire to make processes work better for all those they affect? This is an exciting opportunity to do just that at a highly regarded University set on a beautiful and award winning campus.
We are seeking a senior colleague to join us to lead our teaching and learning administration and related operations. This is a pivotal role at the University of Reading and has much in common with the role of an Academic Registrar at other Universities. We are advertising this role at a time of substantial evolution where there is an opportunity for an experienced manager to influence how the University functions for the next decade.
At the University of Reading we foster a supportive and caring environment for our students and we are looking for someone who will bring a keen focus on process improvement that places the customer (students and staff) at the heart of everything we do.
The role provides leadership to over 125 staff, across a number of teams responsible for teaching and learning administration, assessment and examination as well as timetabling. The role will mentor and lead these teams through some major changes in the coming years. You will need to be persuasive and diplomatic with the ability to empower and motivate. You will have a deep appreciation of the complexities of higher education administration, particularly in relation to assessment & examinations, but above all we are looking for someone to join our team with the drive and ambition to make a positive difference.
Interviews will be held (in-person) during the week commencing 12 December.
