We are seeking a Student Support and Wellbeing Officer. The available post offers an exciting opportunity to join the
Residence Life team, which is part of Accommodation Services and incorporates Resident Support and conduct, living
learning and Engagement and Development programme for student residents.
Responsibilities of the post encompass the need to ensure that the transition from home to University living is achieved as
smoothly as possible, and that self-supporting communities of students are managed and developed. Other duties include
being responsible for a number of residentially-based staff (Residence Life Mentors) and, together with other Residence Life
staff in the areas of providing an exceptional welfare service, upholding the University’s disciplinary policy in respect of
students and building living-learning communities.
This post is full time: Some cover for out of hours work will be required, including weekend open days.
