• Part-time (0.6 FTE), casual opportunity until 30 June 2022
• Casual pay rate of $65.93/hour (pro-rata) plus 10% super

About the Role

The Grant Developer plays a key role to effectively support the development of quality research grant applications to capitalise on competitive research funding opportunities for UniSA. This role will provide expert and proactive advice and service, with a hands-on approach in supporting researchers, and ensure applications fulfil the requirements of funding schemes, are of a high quality, competitive, and meet key deadlines.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide respected and accessible strategic advice and guidance
• Assist researchers in the development and preparation of targeted research grant and funding applications, including providing review and feedback to researchers
• Advise and support researchers in writing applications for a specific reviewer base with a wide range of expertise
• Provide exceptional customer service, engagement and clearly communicate with researchers and all stakeholders

Essential Skills and Experience

• Postgraduate qualifications and significant experience in grant development, writing and editing
• Demonstrated significant experience in research grant development, writing and editing
• Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret policies, procedures, and funding rules
• Experience in providing constructive feedback, advice and recommendations to a diverse range of stakeholders in a research context
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
