Job Summary
Processes repetitive and non-repetitive, clerical accounting transactions which require specific knowledge of a wide variety of prescribed accounting codes and classifications. Prepare check and wires for deposit.

Responsibilities
1. Performs routine front desk clerk tasks for busy central administration department.
2. Performs basic accounting work by following prescribed accounting routines.
3. Generates reports and correspondence for supervisor’s signature according to specified requirements.
4. Posts payments in PeopleSoft.
5. Compares computer printout data against source documents and journal entries to verify accuracy, and prepares input forms to reconcile errors.
6. Maintains tracking logs for various documents.
7. Prepares project folders.
8. Daily filing of documents.
9. Preparation of files for archiving.
10. Communicates verbally and via email with departments across campus to redirect checks and wires to appropriate departments when misdirected to GCA.
11. Maintains and orders adequate quantities of office supplies.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
