An excellent opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated individual, wishing to pursue a career in Higher Education Student Recruitment.
The Student Recruitment, Outreach and Admissions Service are seeking to appoint a Student Recruitment Executive, to carry out external facing student recruitment activities; representing the University at schools, colleges and at Higher Education recruitment events around the UK.
The postholder will advise prospective students and their supporters about the benefits of studying at Warwick and provide information on our entry and selection criteria. Working closely with the Student Recruitment Officer, the post holder will build and develop relationships with teachers, advisers and third-party organisations to support UK recruitment objectives. The role will involve on campus student recruitment activities as available and will provide opportunities to develop presenting, networking and marketing skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills will be needed along with a pro-active approach to work and a high level of enthusiasm for university education.
The role will necessitate local and national travel, and flexibility in hours will be required for frequent periods of evening and weekend work.

Job Purpose
To carry out external facing student recruitment activities, representing the university at schools, colleges and at Higher Education recruitment events around the UK and advising prospective students about the benefits of studying at Warwick.
Working closely with the Student Recruitment Officer, the post holder will build and develop relationships with teachers, advisers and third-party organisations to support UK recruitment objectives. The role will involve on campus student recruitment activities as available.

Duties and responsibilities
- Represent the University at schools, colleges and at HE recruitment events around the UK.
- Deliver talks and presentations in schools and colleges, and virtually.
- Deliver incoming school visits and lead presentations.
- Provide information, advice and guidance to enquirers about the University’s courses, entry requirements, facilities and student life.
- Provide creative input and operational support to a range of physical and virtual projects and events managed by the Student Recruitment team, including University Open Days, Teachers’ Conferences, and Offer Holder events.
- To be aware of current trends and issues affecting higher education in the UK and Warwick’s market position.
- To ensure that Warwick’s key marketing messages and information about the student experience is appropriately conveyed to prospective students and their supporters.
- To collect contact details of prospective applicants, ensuring that details are uploaded promptly to the University’s CRM system.
- To feedback market intelligence gained in the execution of duties around the UK and to provide input to the University’s Recruitment and Marketing teams.
- To support the Student Recruitment Officer (UK) in developing Warwick’s relationships with schools, colleges and third-party organisations across the UK.
- To support the Student Recruitment Officer (UK) in conducting statistical analysis of intelligence related to the UK Undergraduate market.
- Respond to telephone, text, email and face-to-face enquiries from a variety of stakeholders including potential applicants; parents; teachers; academic staff and external bodies.
