The University of Worcester is looking for an ambitious individual who is committed to making a difference in relation to student success. This is an exciting new post within the Directorate of Quality of Educational Development, dedicated to working with colleagues across the University to shape, implement and evaluate strategy to improve student outcomes.
The post-holder will take responsibility for leading and co-ordinating the effective delivery of key improvement projects through pro-active liaison and networking. This will include working with colleagues to plan and manage development initiatives and activities, provide professional development and support for academic and professional staff, as well as monitoring and evaluating impact. Preparing reports for internal committees and working groups will be an important element of the role.
In the first instance the post will be focused on student retention, completion and progression, and educational gain through sharing practice and the application of sector best practice and innovation.
The successful role holder will have experience of delivery of complex projects, as well as the ability to positively engage staff and students, encouraging teamwork and a commitment to continuous improvement. They will also have experience of working across teams, and have a proven ability to communicate and influence at all levels, including writing high quality reports.
