UP Education Hiring for Resource Writer Job at Auckland Full Time

About the role:

As the Resource Writer, you will oversee, update, and develop new resources, such as workbooks and assessments. There are three key performance areas for this role but there are range of duties which include

• To be a trainer when required to support the campuses and ensure teaching staff deliver to high standard
• Writing assessments, marking guides and workbooks for modules and NZQA Unit Standards (if required)
• Involvement in the updating & developing of engaging course material, and resources for all courses.
• Updating and writing career information courses
• Preparing teaching resources and student workbooks ready to be used by the campuses, other tertiary providers and for external industry training.
• Developing e-learning courses and putting them on-line for students to use
• Ensuring all copyright laws are being met and not breached in the writing of all course material
• Having input into the review and analysing of feedback from stakeholders and making suggestions for change to the Faculty Lead or Head of Product

About you:

You will describe yourself as a highly motivated and passionate individual who has amazing creative skills and technical knowledge. You are committed and inspired to influence how these skills are taught to ensure Students are set up for success when they go out into industry. Your exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships will be the key to your success! Ideally, you will also have

• Industry experience preferred
• Training experience preferred but not essential – tertiary or industry
• Qualifications in Adult Teaching, Literacy & Numeracy and or Assessor units would be an advantage
