Purpose:
This position is established to provide support resources for accomplishment of the responsibilities and mission to the inventory function that are assigned to the Records Retention Department.
Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as appropriate to position and as required or assigned by the department director
Will assure that activities necessary for the timely and accurate pulling of departmental issues is maintained.
Will establish and maintain a good professional rapport with the employees and staff of the hospital and subsidiary departments serviced.
Will bring to the attention of the Records Management Clerk any current or potential problems with records currently being reviewed.
Responsible for the safe and orderly storage of the records management files
Review off site record storage files to identify pediatric or other records that must be maintained per the defined guidelines. Training and Quick Review List will be provided.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to read and understand the written English language.
Ability to speak fluently in the English language.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Clearances must be dated within 90 days.
