Position Summary

The Quality Inspector will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products; recording quality results.

Requirements

• At least 2 year experience in quality control preferably in metal fabrication or similar industry
• Must have good understanding of basic manufacturing processes such as light assembly, metal working, painting etc.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, coating thickness, height and radius gauges
• Proficient with blueprints, basic mathematical operations and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Knowledge of statistical software is a plus
• Effective communication skills to discuss and understand work procedures, training, general direction and other issues with co-workers and supervisor
• Experience in process and equipment validation
• Experience with a standard and quality management systems (FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP)
• Experience working in ISO 9001(Preferred)
