USC Hiring for Research Lab Tech I at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

USC’s Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts & Sciences, Human and Evolutionary Biology Department is seeking a Research Lab Technician I to join its team.

A position for a research technician is available in the Kanoski Laboratory (http://www.kanoskilab.com) Human and Evolutionary Biology Section of the Department of Biological Sciences. Research in the Kanoski lab investigates the neurobiological controls of food intake and body weight regulation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in rodent learning and memory techniques with background in neuroscience. Research methods used by the laboratory include molecular biology (immunoblotting, ELISA, ISH, PCR, immunohistochemistry), rodent surgical procedures, confocal microscopy, and various behavioral neuroscience methods. A commitment of one year is required.

Salary range: $19 – $21 per hour
