Utah Navajo Health System Hiring for Health Information Assistant – Temporary at Remote Full Time

Description: UNHS would not be able to achieve our goal of quality equitable healthcare for people living in southeastern Utah without our committed and competent staff. UNHS continually attracts the most devoted healthcare professionals and administrators this region has to offer.

• Works daily including Saturdays and Sundays for approximately two hours a day; not to exceed 20 hours per week.
• Works with two computer systems Athena and Epitrax
• Downloads data and then uploads and files that data to the patient medical record
• Contacts patients and notifies them of their test results
• Works with BH and community outreach teams to contact patients for follow up care needs
• No experience necessary but computer experience preferred

• May work from home, must have reliable internet speed compatible to run large programs. Computer equipment provided.
