Overview
Utah State University Extension’s Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) is seeking one qualified individual to work part-time (20 hours per week) teaching nutrition and cooking skills to limited income families and youth as a Nutrition Assistant III. Training and teaching materials will be provided. This position is for one part-time benefitted position located in Salt Lake, Davis, Weber or Utah County for the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

* A basic knowledge of nutrition and food preparation is recommended.
* Job requires willingness to learn, work well with people, keep records and do reports.
* Internet access and some skill with computers and other electronic devices is necessary.
* Must be willing to obtain Food Handler’s permit within one month of hire.
* Flexible hours
* Car and current insurance, valid driver’s license or access to transportation to meet with clients required. Must adhere to the University Travel and Driving Policies. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Preferred Qualification:

* Bilingual in English and Spanish
