Job Description

Due to continued growth, UTEC Americas are looking to engage with talented individuals to join the team in full time roles. With this in mind, we’d love to hear from Senior/Data Processors with relevant industry experience.

The Senior/Data Processor is responsible for the on-board processing, QC and management of all relevant acquired data including but not limited to hydrographic and/or bathymetric data, as well as the production of associated charts.

The individual will be required to inspect the quality of raw data and inform supervisor if data is not at required standard. Review survey logs compiled by data acquisition crews and process acquired data sets using the Company’s selected processing software.

Keep Processing logs up to date and record offsets used during processing.

Follow pre-defined processing sequence from procedures or on instruction from supervisor and manage time accordingly to ensure data deliverable timelines and Client delivery dates are met. Create / Amend Charts as per project requirements.

QC dataset at each stage of the processing sequence to ensure data integrity.

Discuss requirements and final deliverables with supervisor on a regular basis to ensure processing sequence is fit for purpose and in accordance with UTEC Business Management System and Client contractual requirements.

Actively participate and lead by example in the Company’s Quality and HSE Systems and Procedures. Understand and comply with UTEC policies and procedures and any Client specific HSEQ requests.

Education/Experience:

• Education in Geomatics/Survey degree are desired.
• Relevant industry experience (Oil and Gas and/or Renewables construction sector desirable) or military survey experience is essential.
