THE ROLE

As an integral role within the Financial Services business unit, you will focus on the assessment of client and partner risk (B2C and B2B) in the domain of royalty advances in the music industry. You will be responsible for diversified tasks within the client and partner approval and monitoring process, including client interfacing, client risk analysis and rating determination, presentation of credit assessments and recommendations to the credit committee and intensive collaboration with the sales organization. You will be an expert at identifying productivity and automation potential and actively support simplification and digitalization of risk management tools and processes. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process clients’ and prospects’ applications for royalty advances incl. direct communication with clients
• Research and evaluate quality and reliability of clients’ royalty streams: payment sources, age, depth and longevity of underlying music catalog
• Assess the financial strength of partners (distributors, publishers, PROs)
• Recommend amounts and terms for client advances and partner credit lines to the credit committee
• Contribute to the development of the counterparty risk management framework, incl. processes and procedures
• Monitor and manage the risks on the existing royalty advances as well as partners
• Coach, train and support less experienced team members

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree in finance/business or similar
• Ideally 5 years’ work experience in B2C and/or B2B customer risk assessment, preferably in Music Industry
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to cultivate effective relationships with clients and other stakeholders
• Strong technical skills in Excel
• Well organized
• Independent way of working with a hands-on mindset and analytical way of thinking
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English, both verbal and written
