Vaco Hiring for Remote Account Follow Up Representative at Remote Full Time

• 2+ years’ experience in Hospital Billing/Revenue Cycle terminology knowledge
• Experience in HMS (Hopsital Management Systems)

Job Responsibilities

• Verify claim payment status, rebill claim to patient’s insurance, proration to correct financial class and notate patient accounts with steps taken to resolution
• Ability to understand/interpret reason for insurance payment or insurance payment denial and work account to payment resolution
• Work Denied Claims for payment via appeal process
• Gather additional demographic, clinic information, medical records, authorizations and insurance related information deemed necessary to pay outstanding medical claims and update the applicable systems with the patient information
• Experience with working Government payers & complex claims, such as: Medicare, Liability, MVA, VA, Worker’s Comp, Tricare, Managed Care, Medicaid Advantage, Medicare Advantage
• Identify adjustments to be processed on accounts
• Identify accounts to be moved to Early Out and Bad Debt
