We have exciting opportunities across the motu for Industrial Electricians to join our teams working on fantastic projects and contracts in either Dunedin, Queenstown, Christchurch, or Wellington.

About the role:
Reporting to the ITS Contract Manager you will be undertaking electrical work in accordance with contract requirements, planned and reactive maintenance, new installations, and undertaking electrical checks as required, particularly in association with traffic signals.
You will be assisting with communications networks to ensure no disruption or failure is experienced, carry out maintenance and repairs and new and existing installations of lighting. You will carry out installation, maintenance & repairs of intersection cameras, assist the project manager with job planning & quoting as required. Additionally, you will be flexible to work on call from time to time including nights and weekends. Note that there will be very little to ZERO domestic electrical work undertaken.
About You:
To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates with the following:
A National Certificate in Electrical Engineering – Electrician for Registration. You will be a New Zealand registered Electrician and have a current Electricians practising license with the EWRB.
You will be able to work alone from time to time and be able to manage your own time.
Able and willing to complete essential safety, work job sheets, timesheets and client’s electronic job recording processes and systems on a daily basis.
Flexibility is essential – as there is an occasional requirement to travel and stay away from home.

A current full Class 1 drivers licence
