Velvet Management Inc. Looking for Sales Analyst at Montreal , Quebec Full Time

Reporting to the VP of Brand Portfolio, the Sales Analyst primarily supports the marketing & sales teams. The Sales Analyst will manage the end-to-end analytic infrastructure, responsible for data integrity, market reporting, KPIs, creation of value-added tools, training, and analytical support.

Role & Responsibilities

Reporting – Partner with Sales and Marketing at the National and Regional level to create, optimize and maintain reporting dashboards to measure the health of the business monthly 

Data Integrity – Manage regional databases by ensuring items are correctly coded ensure database integrity 

Analytic Infrastructure Partner – Working cross functionally with all teams to ensure that reports & databases are built to match how they manage the business 

Training Support – Responsible for building & delivering a robust training infrastructure focused on different data sources & tools 

CRM Support for Sales team – using EZ Focus platform, input objectives as laid out by the Sales Director, track objectives, run reports, support sales team in addition/deletion or adjustment of territory account data and listings

Analytics – Proactively identify and analyze business opportunities and challenges- leveraging multiple data sources to make strategic or tactical recommendations on an ad-hoc basis

• Utilize retailer POS data to compile & interpret in-depth customer analysis and provide recommendations on 4P’s to maximize opportunities (including, but not limited to; stores selling, DC & store level inventory, pre/post promo analysis, display mix, sell through, pricing, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience

• Analytical skills with the ability to manipulate, summarize and interpret large amounts of data using advanced Excel skills
• Able to manage priorities and multi-task
• Strong professional verbal, written and overall communication skills Ability to effectively summarize and present information
• Independent worker, reliable, resourceful, motivated and a fast learner
• Strong proficiency with MS Office skills to include MS Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
• Experience with relevant analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Retail Link or JDA would be considered an asset
• University Degree in a Business-related discipline

• One to two (1-2) years of experience as a Business / Sales Analyst within CPG / Alcohol Beverage/ Cannabis Industry
