An opportunity for a motivated and physically fit, fully qualified, and experienced Transmission Linesman to join the busy team at Ventia Central Lines in Nelson.

Required Skills and Competencies

• Registered transmission Line Mechanic with shown ability in de-energised/live line work experience including training.
• Demonstrated high levels of understanding of and adherence to the Health and Safety practices of the Power Transmission Line Industry
• Physically fit especially with regards to heavy lifting, stretching, and climbing; Maintains physical fitness to the level required by the position; Not afraid of heights; Physically flexible; Has and maintains a level of physical fitness that allows working in adverse weather conditions; Manual dexterity
• Valid driver’s license and experience driving appropriate vehicles on all roads, terrain, and weather conditions; Heavy truck license preferred
