Ventia’s transport division has recently been awarded a contract for the maintenance of 900KM of road network in West Auckland, stretching from New Lynn to just shy of Kumeu. There is a decent amount of variety in the types of work you will deliver – the crews you will supervise could be involved in dig-outs, mill and fill work, water table clearing and drainage among others.

About You

It would be great if you have experience in the supervision of pavement repairs, but if you don’t, we are open to anyone with civil construction or building construction experience. In addition, you should have:

• A strong safety record and knowledge of safety requirements in the civil construction environment
• Experience in successfully leading teams in the delivery of construction work
• A decent knowledge of relevant plant and equipment
