What you’ll do:

The position reports to the Senior Manager, North America Corporate Control. This position is a critical part of the NA Corporate Control and Shared Services team supporting multiple ledgers and entities. The person in this role would be responsible for general ledger and month end close activities, supporting and maintaining a strong control environment and assisting local management with any ad hoc assignments and projects as required.

• Responsible for specific areas of the month end close cycle, including preparation, review and posting of general journal entries, account reconciliations, loading of the ERP data to HFM and completion of related forms.
  
  • Maintain fixed asset records including fixed asset additions, adjustments & disposals.
  • Participate in maintaining and enhancing internal controls, policies, and procedures and the related documentation and compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Support budget and forecast preparation.
  • Support ad hoc financial information requests and analyses and other special projects as assigned.

What you’ll bring:

• 4-5 years professional experience, combination of public and industry experience preferred.
  
  • Experience with HFM and JD Edwards ERP system is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential with an emphasis on building new spreadsheets, analyzing large data sets, and using advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and IF statements.
  • Strong work-organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload and work independently.
