Verbena Floral Design Hiring for Flower Shop Team Member at Austin, TX Full Time

Full Time Position: Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 9:15 am to 5:00 pm – plus occasional additional hours (with overtime pay) when shop is busy, for wedding or event setups or holidays

Position Description: We are a small local retrail floral shop located in central Austin, who are a small team of 5. Our flower shop specializes in custom-made floral arrangements for local delivery, as well as weddings and event floral design. This position if full time, Monday-Friday. The candidate must have prior experience either working in a flower shop, working with weddings and events, or floral design experience. The position will focus on daily floral arranging, daily shop maintenance (sweeping, washing vases and buckets, cleaning the studio and retail areas, cleaning and prepping items for weddings and events, etc.), taking orders by phone and in person in our store, driving the delivery van, and helping the other team members to maintain inventory. Excellent customer service and work ethic are very important for this position.
