Veriday Looking for Sales Engineer at Mississauga , Ontario Full Time

Veriday is expanding its sales team adding a result-oriented Sales Engineer with proven experience in a SaaS environment for full-time employment. Sales Engineers sell complex scientific and technical products or services to businesses in a way that amplifies the business benefits. They have extensive knowledge of the product feature set and technology, and they understand the processes that make these products work.

 In this role, you will be responsible for expanding Veriday’s presence in North America through technical enablement. You’ll play a critical part in a larger sales team, helping to develop and then deliver sales strategies from a technical perspective. You’ll help lead technical evaluations at our customers through an entire net new and land-and-expand customer journey. You’ll work directly with our sales & marketing teams, working to understand their business priorities and technical needs in line with their go-to-market initiatives. Through discovery conversations, presentations, and demos, you will qualify opportunities, helping the prospects & clients to understand how Veriday’s solutions fit and validate the value of Veriday’s solutions. Your success as a Sales Engineer will require a mix of technical expertise, enterprise sales, and adoption expertise, along with excellent people and communication skills. You should be motivated and have a positive attitude and the expertise needed to win in a competitive market. Successful applicants must reside anywhere in Canada.

What you will do:-

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
• Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
• Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules.
• Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
• Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
• Delivering presentations and performing product demonstrations.
• Answering client queries and providing technical product support.
• Documenting processes and compiling user manuals for the marketing team and clients.
• Contributing to marketing strategies by researching market trends and associated technologies.
• Provide overall technical account management in new and existing accounts

What do you need to succeed?

• Diploma or Degree in a business or related field with 2 years of experience in a Sales Engineer role.  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to formulate, prioritize and execute to achieve desired sales results
• Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills
• Experience building technical sales decks and excellent presentation skills and consultative skills required.

• Proven hands-on experience with general programming skills like JAVA, HTML, CSS, Javascript (React)
