TITLE: Administrative Assistant (Order Entry/AP/AR)

VeriForm is pleased to offer a full-time employment opportunity in our front office. The Administrative / Accounting role is an integral part of our process, ensuring our jobs are setup correctly and vendors paid accurately. The position is dynamic as you will engage with all levels of our team including engineering, production, shipping, and maintenance staff.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Answering phones and greeting people, directing them to proper contacts internally.
• Order Entry: Checking that part revisions and pricing match the original quote details. This includes printing job travelers and drawings to give to engineering/production.

• Accounts payable: Processing and categorizing supplier invoices and payments.
• Accounts receivable: Job invoicing and posting receipts to customer accounts.
• Providing accounting support to bookkeeper.
• General Admin duties also include:

i) Coordinating benefit plan and employee inquiries.
ii) Ordering office supplies, helping with inventory in our automated crib system.
iii) Setup and maintain both manual and electronic filing system.
iv) Perform Excel analysis of data to help management decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in administrative-accounting role.
• Ideally manufacturing background but not necessary.
• Post-Secondary diploma with basic accounting.

• Advanced skills with Office and Excel.

• Ability to multi-task and complete work accurately and on time.

• Accountable – Teachable – Approachable – team player.

• Ability to learn, make decisions, be flexible and problem solve.

Salary information:

$17.62- $24.50 depending on experience.
