Description

Verily recently announced a new company strategy of advancing precision health by closing the gap between research & care. Our team is responsible for enriching the participant (in Research) and patient (in Care) experience, to interact with our platform and accelerate evidence generation through clinical trials, deliver more precise interventions, and improve outcomes through personalized care solutions. We are looking for passionate engineers who want to make a positive impact on health care and health outcomes, help us to build a successful and scalable product, and execute on Verily’s commitment to transparency, privacy and health access.

Responsibilities

• Consistently complete tasks within the scope of a larger project.
• Make steady progress on problems using existing tools, resources, and processes.
• Acquire the skills and competence necessary to become an effective contributor to your team’s efforts with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity in both frontend and backend software development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Go and React/JS.
• Experience with Git, Jira and Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent communication skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
