Overview of Job Function:
Oversees the design, development, implementation, and the ongoing evaluation of the global compensation functions of the company. Reviews job descriptions, conducts job evaluation and salary surveys, establishes salary structures, develops salary budgets and prepares policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive employee compensation. Works with HRBP’s to assess competitive labor market trends. Maintains a working knowledge of global policy, federal and state legislation, compliance filings and all other regulations that may affect compensation policies or required government filings. Responsible for incentive, equity and bonus plan design and administration programs to attract and retain employees.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Continue to refine and develop/implement global job structure and architecture to align position responsibilities and functional structures.
Responsible for lifecycle of compensation planning.
Responsible for data consistency, accuracy, and compensation data audits
Administration of multiple compensation plans including base pay, annual bonus programs, stock plan programs and other incentive programs, in compliance with global, federal, and state regulations.
Directs and manage annual global compensation process by maintaining global compensation budgets and working closely with global HR leaders, HRIS/IT, and senior business leaders on budget allocation and providing proper guidance and support during the planning cycle.
Collaborate with HR Leaders and HR Business Partners to support and advise managers on compensation-related activities.
Assist with development, implementation and integration of new compensation strategy and programs to support the organization’s business objectives and meet all legal requirements.
Investigate and resolve compensation issues or concerns regarding data alignment and accuracy in HRIS systems.
Keep up to date on global compliance and legislative changes related to compensation to ensure compliance with applicable employment-related global and federal and state statutory requirements regarding employee pay.
Responsible for completion quarterly compensation analysis and action planning, compliance filings, and equity plans timely and accurately, including EEO-1, VETS, AAP, and others that may arise.
Design, develop, and implement short term incentive and long term incentive plans globally across the company, fostering best practices and driving operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
12 years of experience in a compensation leadership position for a global organization, to include but not limited to plan design, STI and LTI analysis and planning and working with multiple currencies
Expert knowledge of international differences in compensation planning and currency planning and reporting.
3 years’ experience and sound knowledge of all US compliance related filings to include AAP and EEO-1 reports and compensation analyses.
Strong technology experience and expert system and application technical experience regarding interfaces, testing, test script design and system implementations
Strong problem solving skills with ability to apply resolutions
Excellent judgment to manage sensitive and confidential matters
Excellent technical skills as it relates to compensation metrics, analysis and planning
Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service required
Functional Director, who takes initiative and has a proven ability to work independently as well as part of a matrix team while prioritizing competing responsibilities
Ability to work with multiple Human Resources applications and systems, including but not limited to, running reports, researching data, transmitting data, testing, interfaces and designing macros to analyze trends
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint and Excel)
