Vet Nurse Plus invites applications for a Full-time Veterinary Nurse Tutor/Clinic Coordinator at our brand new Albany Education Centre.

As a part of our amazing team, you will be teaching a range of subjects on our qualifications – the level 5 NZ Certificate in Animal Technology (Veterinary Nursing Assistant), and the level 6 NZ Diploma in Veterinary Nursing including the subject Diagnostics and Anaesthesia.

Teaching is a great next step for Vets or Vet nurses who may be after a new challenge. In fact, most of our Tutors come straight from a clinic, so you can too!

Vet Nurse Plus provides the support you need while developing your skills as a Tutor on the job.

About you:

You may be ready for the next step, having spent some time in the Veterinary industry, or already have teaching experience under your belt. You’ll be enthused about teaching future dedicated Veterinary Nurses and may have enjoyed training students at your clinic.

You’ll also have:

• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Level 5 in Veterinary Nursing, Diploma in Veterinary Nursing, Bachelor of Veterinary Science, or above
• Great computer skills
• The ability to work to deadlines
• A naturally strong work ethic with a focus on team success
