Takanini Veterinary Associates is a well-established, 7-8 vet community practice that provides high-level veterinary medicine.

About the clinic:

We’re a purpose-built practice with 3 spacious consulting rooms, 2 surgical suites, treatment/dental area, digital X-ray, high-end ultrasound and endoscopic imaging, in-house lab for blood work. Special interests are broad and varied spanning from soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics TTA/TTO, stem-cell therapy, chemotherapy, reproductive AI and surgical AI, and dentistry.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Vet Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. We focus on further developments and will support special areas of interest you may have. This is a clinic where you can grow your skillset and advance your career whilst being supported along the way.

This position covers all aspects of general Veterinary Nursing, from reception/administration duties, assisting with clinical diagnostic procedures like blood sampling, in-house pathology, setting up X-rays, hospitalisation and nursing care of in-patients, anaesthetics and surgical assistance for routine and non-routine procedures.
