General Warehouse Worker: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking, and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. 1st shift- Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday

• Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, and store goods; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries
• Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures.

Skills for Success:

• Basic level of education will be required, reading, writing, and basic numeracy
• No formal occupational training required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment to achieve performance standards.
• Effectively work and communicate with others in a warehouse environment.

Job Requirements:

• Perform job duties in a safe manner, following all DC safety rules and regulations.
• Perform necessary housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Demonstrated agility and flexibility to adapt to changing business and operational needs.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, twist/turn and perform repetitive movement.
• Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and boxes weighing up to 30 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 – $22.40 per hour
