Responsibilities
- Supervise all functions of the Phosphate Line, Wastewater and Labroratory.
- Maintain existing Preventative Manitenace program for the Phosline and Wastewater processes.
- Order supplies for safety and maintenance as needed for the Phosline, Wastewater and Lab.
- Maintain EPA complaince and all reporting requirements with all applicable Local, State and Federal agencies.
- Serve as Environmental Coordinator for ISO 14001 system.
- Reference Environment Management System manual in regards to ISO-14001
- Responsible for final part quality including the obligation to shut down processes producing discrepant material or that could have a negative environmental impact.
- Assist and support all required safety traininig.
- Monitor the inventory levels of chemicals used in the Phosline and Wastewater process and reorder as necessary.
- Analyze and troubleshot equipment as necessary.
- Assist and train operators/technicians as needed for the coating process.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Chemistry. Additional certifications or advanced degree a plus.
- 3-5 years as a Chemist in an Industrial/Manufacturing setting.
- Experience with Industrial coating and metal cleansing.
- Experience as a Wastewater technician.
- On-Site: Must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate o the Morganfield, KY area.
