VideoAmp is the software and data solutions company powering the convergence of linear TV and digital video advertising. Our solutions connect linear TV viewership with addressable data assets to benefit the marketing and media industries. This enables marketers and content owners to holistically plan, transact, and measure deduplicated audiences across digital video, OTT, connected and linear TV advertising.

Role & Responsibilities

Location: United States (Remote)

As a Backend Engineer at VideoAmp, you’ll be building the APIs that empower our clients to plan and measure their advertising campaigns on our developer platform in a user-friendly and scalable way. Your work will directly impact how major brands and publishers value, transact, and measure television and digital advertising.

You will work with our Data Science, Measurement, and Engineering Services teams to ensure that our methodologies are rigorous and best-in-class, our data pipelines are correct and reliable, and our APIs are responsive and highly available. The successful candidate will be a strong coder and excellent problem solver who prefers learning by doing.

Qualifications

• Interest in web application development and an eagerness to learn new skills
• Fluency with one or more mainstream strongly-typed, compiled programming languages such as Go, Java, C#, or C++
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with a version control system like GitHub including code review processes
• Collaborate with peers across the entire range of development activities that includes distilling engineering designs from product requirements, development of work plans, building consensus, implementation, testing, productization, monitoring, and maintenance
• B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, or similarly technical field or equivalent industry experience

What We Offer

Minimum base salary of $90,000 – $115,000+ Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
