Position Summary Information

| Job Description Summary: | The OEA seeks a one-year, hourly |
| | (15 hours per week) graduate |
| | student Study Abroad Consultant |
| | — GAH beginning in the Fall 2023 |
| | through Spring 2024. The |
| | successful candidates must have |
| | strong writing, communication, |
| | and interpersonal skills and a |
| | commitment to working with |
| | undergraduatestudents. While all |
| | graduate students are invited to |
| | apply, OEA is particularly |
| | interested in incoming graduate |
| | students who have had study |
| | abroad experience and can speak |
| | to their own personal study |
| | abroad journey in their advising. |
| | This position does not come with |
| | a tuition waiver. There is an |
| | opportunity for this position to |
| | be renewed for the following |
| | academic year. The Study Abroad |
| | Consultant will have numerous |
| | opportunities to develop their |
| | professional skills through |
| | advising students, public |
| | speaking, social media |
| | management, and event planning. |

| | OEA Framework and Advising |
| | MAPs to discuss study abroad |

| | potential study abroad |
| | students during individual |

| | through the study abroad |
| | approval and application |
| | process once they have |
| | selected a program. |
