VINCI Looking for V.I.E Business Solutions officer F/H at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

We are in an exciting period of new opportunities in Finance in New Zealand. We want to strengthen our pool of VIE and are seeking a VIE – Business Solutions officer F/M who wants to work within our VINCI Construction subsidiaries based in New Zealand – HEB Construction.

HEB Construction is a Civil Construction company and provides our clients with a diverse multi-disciplined civil engineering infrastructure capability that helps to sustain the communities in which we work. This capability includes the construction of sub-divisions, roads and bridges, stormwater drainage, pumping stations, water, and wastewater treatment plants, as well as piling, wharf construction, precast concrete elements, and landscaping.

You will be a Finance team member, directly reporting to the Business Solutions Manager. You will be responsible for the daily watering and feeding of HEB Best of Breed Finance Systems, staff training, and setting up new users (activate and deactivate), whilst managing any calls from the wider business for assistance with system queries. You will work collaboratively with the other departments such as Operations, Finance, Accounts, and IT

Your main missions consist of supporting HEB Construction Finance systems & applications, such as: Dynamics GP (Accounts, Financial and Job Cost Control); Workplace (e-procurement); Ferret (Document Management); SmartConnect (Integration); Promaster (Expense Management).

Support:

• Financial Reporting – GL vs Job Costing agree before the month-end close
• Financial Reporting – Correct any AP processing errors affecting Job Costs
• Support Accounts team with Automated AP workflow
• Managing calls from the wider business for assistance with system queries
• Ensure all business processes are kept up to date for admin users

Training:

• Keep staff updated on changes or updates to systems through training via online sessions and or in person
• Regular training and documentation provided for new users

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• A graduate of a business or engineering school or university education in IT or Finance
• First experience in Finance and System Application support ideally
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral in English
• Proven organizational skills
• Proven well-developed interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated
• Analytical skills
• Well-developed time management skills
• Adaptable – able to adjust priorities as needed
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP is an asset, same as a broad experience and knowledge of accounting systems and processes.
• A previous international experience would be a plus.

To enter the VIE Program, you have to be:

A European citizen aged between 18 and 28 on the date of registration, whatever training level;

A graduate student, with a fluent level in English;

Have never done any V.I.E. in the past;

Do not have worked previously in the host country.
