Virginia Mason Memorial Hiring for Unit Care Assistant/NAC at Yakima Full Time

Shift Differentials: Employees working evening duty (3:00 p.m. to 11 :30 p.m. shift) shall receive an additional one dollar and fifty-five cents ($1.55) per hour over their regular rate of pay, and employees working night duty (11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. shift) shall receive an additional two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour over their regular rate of pay. Employees with scheduled shifts overlapping the aforementioned regular shift times shall be paid the appropriate shift differential for the hours worked.

ROLE SUMMARY The Unit Care Assistant is responsible for the secretarial and patient care duties necessary for a smooth running unit. The Unit Care Assistant collaborates to provide an optimal plan of care based on the patient’s specific needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited NAC program required. Experience: Previous acute care experience preferred. Previous medical office experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Washington State (DOH) Nursing Assistant Certification. American Heart Association BLS required.
