Viriya Consulting, LLC Hiring for FEMA Subject Matter Expert at Puerto Rico Full Time

Viriya Consulting, LLC is a consulting and advisory firm that specializes in disaster recovery grant administration. Our team of experts is seeking FEMA Subject Matter Experts (SME) that will be responsible for supporting the project engagement team through the successful administration and management of federal disaster recovery funds that facilitate recovery in disaster-stricken communities.

Disaster recovery experience with FEMA PA Section 406 Mitigation and Section 428 PAAP Permanent Work projects is REQUIRED. Experience with FEMA Section 404 Hazard Mitigation programs is strongly preferred. These positions vary in travel requirements including but not limited to: no travel, part-time travel, indefinite travel, and temporary relocation. These are contracted positions with an estimated term of 2 years. Positions are subject to extensions contingent on performance and availability. Responsibilities:

• FEMA public assistance compliance advisory

• Federal grant policy and compliance research

• Stakeholder engagement

• Report/presentation preparation and delivery

• Project coordination

• Data entry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

• Strong experience with FEMA programs

• Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office products

• Availability at least 40 hours per week

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively, both independently and with a team

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 – $90.00 per hour
