Virtual Office Solutions Hiring For Part Time Barrister’s Typist at Remote Full Time

We are currently looking to add an experienced part-time Legal Typist to our team to assist in carrying out legal typing for many of our Barrister clients, both Junior and Senior Counsel and Solicitors.

Applicants must have:

• Experience of working with Barristers and familiarity with legal court documents, templates and jargon.
• Experience working in a busy general legal practice office or similar, having worked with legal precedents, court templates etc.
• Excellent availability, be flexible, committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
• Proven IT skills with excellent MS Outlook and Advanced MS Word skills (section breaks, numbering/sub-numbering, footnotes, tables, etc.)
• The ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment where fast and accurate turnaround times are crucial.
• The ability to handle large volumes of work (1 to 2 hours of audio per day).
• Minimum 80 words per minute typing speed is essential.
• Your own home office setup with Olympus Transcription Kit & Software, excellent internet access, along with an excellent anti-virus package (Eset or Kaspersky), OneDrive and Skype accounts are a requirement.
• Minimum Windows 10 Operating System with a full working package of MS Office 2016 or higher and minimum of 500gb hard drive and 8gb ram is a requirement.
• Willingness to assist with other non-legal/general typing items (building and financial sectors) during quieter legal periods.

Applicants must complete a typing test. If successful, and after an agreed trial period, excellent rates apply to the right candidate.
