Visa Hiring For Sr. SW Test Engineer at Singapore Full Time

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is required
• 5 years of software engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5 -7 years of software engineering experience with 3 years of manual and automated testing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant technical discipline required, master’s degree a preferred
• At least 3+ years of experience in open systems testing, preferably in Electronic Payments
• Strong understanding of software development and test engineering processes and methodologies
• Strong Analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of Build tools like GIT
• Strong experience in Test Automation – Script development and Execution.
• Strong knowledge of database query tools like DB2, MySQL and ability to write and run complex queries for data validation
• Ability to deliver results on multiple projects in a complex and fast-moving environment
• Ability to generate creative and innovative solutions for test challenges and constraints
• Solid understanding of black box and white box testing, performance testing, test automation, requirements traceability and general test process reporting
• Experience in using industry standard test management tools (e.g. ALM / Quality Center, Clear Quest, JIRA).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, client service and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively and efficiently
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple competing priorities with minimal direction from management
• Has strong sense of teamwork
• Experience in Java scripting language and Selenium WebDriver preferred
• At least 2+ years of experience in test automation and able to develop and maintain test scripts preferred
• Strong knowledge of web services testing using automation tools such SoapUI and JASON preferred
• Experience in software or tools development preferred
• Mainframe experience is added advantage
