Thisposition serves as a resource to clinical services operations on quality andregulatory compliance issues and operational excellence standards.Participates in process and performance improvement initiatives through dataand process analysis. Responsible for all aspects of the deviation managementprocess for Clinical Services operational areas.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and externalregulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.Assures quality customer service to all customers.Leads through example, demonstrating RITE Values in daily interactions withothers.May assist with coordination of workflow, training, and mentoring ofsupport staff, as required.Conducts data and process analysis activities including in-depth analysis ofdeviation and operational performance data. Evaluates data for trends andopportunities for improvement. Facilitates and/or leads improvementinitiatives including the use of improvement tools and methodologies. Servesas an improvement resource to operations. Supports cultural transformationthrough OE as it is adopted by the CS operational units to include being aresource for use of process improvement tools and methodologies.Leads and/or participates in process mapping activities for new and revisedprocesses for areas of Clinical Services expertise. Participates in changeimplementation and evaluates process changes to include where applicable,planning, and pre/post implementation assessments/checklists.Supports the internal audit program. Assists operations in evaluatingobservations, performing investigations, and root cause analysis. Aids inthe development of corrective action. Performs follow-up on auditobservations. Tracks responses, monitors implementation, and ensureseffectiveness of corrective action. As needed, plans, schedules andperforms internal assessments to ensure critical processes are compliant.Prepares final assessment reports and communicates outcomes to management.Facilitates process improvement activities for identified observations.Provides support to clinical services operations regarding deviationmanagement processes. Ensures all assigned deviation management reports areaccurate and timely. Conducts root cause analysis, reviews correctiveactions, and ensures corrective actions are implemented and effective forthe assigned deviation management event. Ensures reports to external agenciesare accurate and on time.Ensures requests for required regulatory documents are submitted timely.Acts as the local Privacy Coordinator. Handles routine local issues and is theprimary communications liaison with the Privacy Officer, the LegalDepartment, and Security Officer. As applicable, serves as the localprivacy contact under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act(HIPAA).Supports hosting of external inspections both locally and at offsitelocations. Assists in development of inspection responses. Facilitates rootcause analysis and ensures corrective actions for any observations noted areimplemented and effective.
