Job Summary:
As a Field Dispatcher / Scheduler you will sit at the heart of the company, working directly with customers and technicians to coordinate Smart Home inspections, and service calls for Vivint customers. You will work closely with field managers and technicians to optimize scheduling and increase the efficiency of our field teams. Training: paid 3 weeks, mandatory
Starting Pay: $13.00/hour with potential to earn $17.00/hour within first year
Pay Increase: $14.00/hr after training based on performance
Additional $.50 per hour for bi-lingual Spanish/English speakers.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Scheduling appointments, making/taking calls, and assisting customer and technicians with appointments, schedules, and tickets.
Utilization of emails, text messages and other communicative tools to help efficiently route technicians and other resources throughout the day
Answer incoming calls from customers and field technicians concerning appointments, schedule changes, or other scheduling related questions
Inquiring with responsible parties to schedule installations and service calls in our dispatching software
Accurately document and update records
Maintain diplomacy when addressing escalated matters
Must be able to work every other Saturday
Required Experience:
Age: 18+
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Must obtain a Burglar Alarm License through the Division of Occupations and Professional Licensing with the State of Utah (paid for by Vivint) if living in the state of Utah
Ability to successfully pass background check
Passion for providing quality customer service
Proficient communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be able to multi-task while using different internal programs
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Ability to work in a team-fostered environment
Cannot be located in CA, CO, CT, D.C., KY, ME, NJ, NY, WA
Preferred Experience:
Previous Scheduling experience
Previous Call Center experience
Demonstrated strong familiarity of Microsoft Windows
Equipment Requirements:
You must be able to provide your own equipment. This entails:
A computer (laptop or desktop) that runs Windows 10 or later (Please note our remote-based software does NOT work with Apple/Mac products, tablets, or Chromebooks.)
Computer must have at least 8 GB RAM.
Computer must have a webcam.
A USB wired headset equipped with a microphone.
Must have reliable internet: 10 MBPS download and 5 MBPS upload speeds
Must have a wired internet connection
Work Environment Requirements:
Understand you cannot be the primary caregiver for any children, other people, or pets while on shift.
Be able to type a minimum of 35 wpm
Have a quiet and private location from which to work
