HR Source Senior Employee Advisor, VMware

Come join a small but mighty team dedicated to providing great HR Support to employees at VMware. In this role you will have an opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting, and at times challenging, HR issues, enabling employees and managers to find information, execute transactions, and resolve issues.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
Within the first 30 days of employment, you will learn VMware’s HR policies and guidelines and become familiar with the different teams we partner with and how we deliver our service to our employee base.
In the first 90 days, you will establish a relationship with one of our COE partner teams and begin identifying areas where HR Source can be a more effective partner in helping that team and our employees and managers.
In the first 6-12 months you will:
Improve processes within the HR Source teams and throughout the broader HR organization
Analyze trends and report results, bringing findings and insights from HR Source to our businesses
Lead and participate in projects to contribute to making a better HR organization
Become a subject matter expert and help guide the team on difficult cases
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
Serve as a primary HR point of contact for all employee and manager HR inquiries
Build, organize and review knowledge base content
Respond to employee and manager inquiries through phone, email or messaging systems by accessing a variety of tools and knowledge bases
Provide superior customer service and HR support to VMware employees and managers
Help resolve non-standard employee inquiries, identifying the best means to find expert support internally or externally
Utilize critical thinking skills, HR knowledge and internal knowledge base to support incoming inquiries
Problem solve and support VMware employees and managers throughout the VMware People Programs
Be a great partner with the broader HR team
Document all contacts and outcomes within the case management tool
Be an escalation point on the team for VIP, Employee Relations, and other difficult cases
Help train new team members

The hiring manager for this role is Aric Buroker, manager of the HR Source AMER team.
