Voca Staffing Hiring for HR Generalist/Leave of Absence Coordinator at California Full Time

• Responsible for a variety of HR functions including all aspects of the Leave of Absence (LOA) program and ADA.
• Utilize robust disability management techniques, early intervention and management training to prevent or minimize risk.
• Facilitating the Interactive Process, reasonable accommodation, the return-to-work process.
• Responsible for managing the Consent Decree compliance and claims filed with EEOC, DFEH and other agencies.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Experience:

• 5+ years Human Resources Generalist experience
• 3+ years direct and high level expertise on Leave of Absence Management, ADA and Investigations relating to Leave matters.
• HR Management experience is a plus.
• Works with Labor Relations to facilitate meetings or communications with union.
• Experience working in a union environment is preferred.
• General understanding of employee benefits as they relate to LOA, including short/long term disability, COBRA, state disability pay, etc.

Manager Notes:

• Remote
• M-F, 8-5, but can be flexible if needed
• Union experience is desired.
• Healthcare is a plus, but not required.

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
